$181M Tampa water treatment plant expansion breaks ground

Tampa Bay is expanding its regional surface water treatment plant with a $181M project currently under construction through 2028. The expansion will increase the facility's capacity to meet growing water demands in the region.

Construction is already underway on the Tampa Bay Regional Surface Water Treatment Plant and will continue through 2028, according to a news release.
